Enrollment

Waitlist

We enroll infants/toddlers and young preschoolers ages 3 months to 2.5 yrs year round. We offer enrollment to families based on our current group and the age ranges that will fit best at the time. Our waitlist is typically long for for both facilities. The wait time for all ages can vary due to different needs.We cannot predict how long families might remain on our list before getting an offer to enroll. Once you join the list you will receive emails every so often to confirm your interest in remaining on the list and you are welcome to update your preferences on the list at any time.  Once your child reaches 30 months we will automatically remove you from the list.

The fee to join our waitlist covers both facilties, or you can choose only one location if you prefer. It is a good idea to fill out your preferred needs for care, keeping in mind your flexibility with enrollment dates and schedules can improve your odds of enrollment. 

If we have space to offer your child you will receive an email directly from us with all of the information and we will wait to hear back from you if you accept or not.  If we don’t get a response from you regarding the offer we will automatically remove you from our list.  If you decline the offer we can either remove you from the list or move you to the bottom of the list so we can move forward with others on the list.

Tours

We schedule our facility tours after hours for one family at a time.  This provides a calmer atmosphere so we can focus on individual questions without distraction and have more detailed conversations.  Please follow the link to our online scheduling calendar to find a date that works for you to come meet with us at one or both of our facilities.  Note- We offer the same mixed age care at both facilities so one facility tour to begin with is recommended- you will get all of the information and if we have space to offer at our other facility we will give you an opportunity to tour before any decisions are made.

Tuition

We offer care and enrollment year round for two to five full days a week. Our daily hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 am-5:15 pm.  

  • 5 days per week $2275 per month
  • 4 days per week $1829 per month
  • 3 days per week $1391 per month
  • 2 days per week $900 per month

We do not offer refunds, credits or make up days.

Both of our sons…

Both of our sons went to Children’s Song, and despite having different personalities, both loved their experiences! Every morning when we walked in, our kids were greeted with cheer and warmth, and there was a constant rotation of inviting games to play, puzzles, dress up, painting, building materials, and books to read. At Jodie’s location there was always a spirit of inclusion and joy, and the variety of activities always helped peak their interest. If goodbyes were ever challenging, the caregivers always helped by stepping in to ease the transition in a supportive and caring manner. The grown ups there were playful, even keeled, attentive, kind, and supportive. We really appreciated how they guided kids through problem solving, too, helping kids check in with one another to work big feeling through. We also loved how the kids went outside rain or shine, essential in Portland!
